Wk2: Positive

The three positive reviews I chose to leave behind was at my orthodontists, doctors, and nephrologist.  For all three, I thanked them for helping take care of my throughout these years as they all played a crucial role in helping with my physical recovery. On top of their help they are all great people as well so I made sure they knew that!

Week 2 Part A: Business & Consumers: Communication and Reviews

After reading through a multitude of reviews on businesses such as Amazon and even in the comment sections of YouTube videos, I have definitely noticed patterns in both positive, negative, and solely informative reviews. Since social media websites that platform many businesses coexist with younger demographics, I've found those to be very different from the reviews I would see under Amazon products. On YouTube, review clarity fluctuates as it really just depends on the audience that it attracts. Some videos may be riddled with negative reviews by way of blunt hate comments while others may provide constructive criticism with proper experience. As for my experience with Amazon reviews, I notice a trend of straightforward yet professional tone of comments.  Social media is a great source of notice and attention when needed. I've randomly come across many videos of customers who were dissatisfied with their product, etc, who took their opinions to social media and met a lot of ...

Week1 B: Social Media Use Today

Social media use has become much more prevalent with respect to technological advancements throughout the years. As someone who grew up using all sorts of social media platforms to explore, communicate, and connect, I can confidently say that there are many positives and negatives.  To begin with my own experiences, I've actually been running a YouTube channel since 2019 to share my gaming videos with people within the online gaming community. I've managed to garner a rather large audience of over two hundred thousand subscribers with about two hundred million views throughout this time, which came with a lot of great but also angry experiences/interactions.  One thing I would like to point out is how in the online world, basically "anything goes". Repercussions are overshadowed by anonymous profiles but this has actually personally helped me a lot. It's really to each its own, but after properly experiencing online negativity over the course of the years, I'v...

Week1A: My Blog Theme

Hey everyone, I went with a pretty basic abstract art theme for my blog! What's ironic about this is that I have never been attracted to these styles of art, nor would I have thought to have picked it for a theme.  The reason why I chose this to display my blog was not necessarily due to a changing of perspective over time, but more so from surprising relatability. When I saw this art piece, what I admired the most was the "controlled chaos" that it produced. Everything seemed all over the place yet so well put together at the same time. Recently, my life has felt this way with my messy and uncoordinated work schedule yet constant procrastinated victories. Although this is something that I must improve upon and am hoping to throughout the year, I felt that this was the best fitting theme to use for my blogs as of now. As for the rest, I kept it pretty basic by only boldening and slightly enlarging the texts. I don't have much of a reason why I chose to leave the othe...
