Week 14: Social Media Management Tools (Part B)

Buffer is a great place to start, especially since it’s affordable and not too complicated. I also didn’t know much about Loomly before, but it seems helpful for planning out content, especially if you start working with someone else on marketing. I’m curious to hear how Buffer works out for you once you try it!"

Coco Dry: "Hey Coco, I really enjoyed reading your breakdown of these tools, especially how you tied them into your content style for Coco Shuffles! It sounds like you put a lot of thought into matching the features to your actual workflow, which is amazing. I hadn’t heard much about Metricool either, but after seeing how much it offers for free, especially with platforms like TikTok and YouTube, I’m definitely interested in checking it out too. Later also seems like a strong choice for visual creators, but I agree that the post limits on the free version can potentially be frustrating. Great insights and post in general!"

April Hay: "Hey April, I really liked how honest and straightforward your review was. I get what you mean about a lot of the tools feeling similar, as it does seem like most of them offer the same basic features, just with different pricing tiers. I also think it makes sense to use a free version for a small business to save time and money, especially if you’re trying to handle everything on your own. I haven’t checked out Brandwatch or Content Studio yet, but now I know which ones might not be worth the time. Buffer, in my opinion, would be a solid choice with a clean layout and fair prices!"

    Reading all three of my classmates posts gave me a better understanding of how different social media tools work for different types of businesses. Jose showed me how Buffer can help small businesses stay consistent online without spending too much. Coco introduced me to Metricool, which seems perfect for creators managing short-form content across multiple platforms. Finally, April had a really honest take and reminded me that simple, affordable tools like Buffer can often be the best choice, especially for individuals or small teams. Overall, I learned that the best tool is to each its own and really depends on one's goals, budget, and how much time they want to spend managing their content!
